Course content
  • To read and learn and adhere to all MHE procedure as specified in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • To perform pre-shift equipment inspection and pre-mission walk around inspections.
  • Post mission walk around inspection as well as rigging inspection on equipment that rigging is used.
  • Know and understand proper procedures for reporting incidents/accidents.
  • Know and apply “Stop Work Authority” as and when necessary.
  • Practices sessions under supervision of a qualified trainer on load handling, maneuvering, travelling, stopping and starting.
  • To ensure that all supervisor who work around the MHE have been informed of the hazards instructed in the role and procedure to avoid harm and to know where the written role and procedure are located.
